Eco Leadership Initiative was born from a desire to get people moving, towards a sustainable future and greater wellbeing. We help people connect more deeply with themselves and their environment through development programs, trainings, masterclasses and coaching. In doing so, people discover their place in the (eco)system and how they can make a positive contribution.

Change begins with personal leadership. Not just in the boardroom, but with everyone who thinks, This has to change. We help people and organisations move from good intentions to tangible action, by showing how to push past resistance, make an impact, and lead in a world that is constantly shifting. We help you understand why change is sometimes so hard (spoiler: it’s not your fault!) and how to get yourself and others moving.Without dogma and guilt, just curiosity, courage, and a healthy dose of positive energy.

Our approach

Climate Psychology + Leadership Development

We combine climate psychology with leadership development. Climate psychology helps you understand how people (including yourself) respond to large-scale change, and why that can sometimes be so hard. Leadership development then empowers you to turn understanding into action. To make choices. To bring others along. And to keep going, even when things get difficult.

Because change starts with awareness, but only really happens when you start moving. We don’t just give you insight into what’s going on, we help you actually take steps. With trust, curiosity, and a good dose of courage.

By learning from nature, by reflecting together, and by making space for real connection. With yourself, with each other, and with the world around you. Because that’s where lasting change begins.

A lot comes to us—climate change, wars, and unrest in society are just a few examples. We notice that colleagues are dropping out or even getting sick from it.

Masterclasses

Movement can start small. With an inspiring one-hour masterclass, we set something in motion—from a new conversation to a fresh perspective on old patterns. This can be off-the-shelf or fully customized.

“Staying balanced in a changing world”

During this Masterclass we pause to consider what impact all the major events of our time have on us. Whether it’s geopolitical unrest, climate change, or war. We take you through common (eco)emotions and of course how you can respond differently to them. We don’t just stop at identifying—we bring concrete tips you can start using tomorrow.

1-on-1 Guidance

Sometimes change requires personal attention. In our individual guidance, you get space to explore more deeply what you need.

We’re here for everyone who wants to grow in personal leadership, better manage stress, or make stronger connections with their environment. Specifically, we also offer support with climate stress, eco-anxiety, and existential questions.

Organizational Consulting

No room for a full custom program? No problem, we’re happy to talk with you about organizing the first movement. We do this with a punch card, where for example green teams can make use of online one-hour sessions. This can be about organizational change, concrete behavior change, or how to deal with (emotional) resistance.
